What is Collective Membership?

Collective membership of ��ʿ����is open to national and regional associations recognized by the ��ʿ����Executive Committee as being representative of political science in their respective countries or regions. Associations must be open to all, regardless of academic, gender or social status, on a membership basis, and represent most regions and universities of their respective countries or groups of countries within a region.

Each collective member is represented on IPSA’s central governing organ, the ��ʿ����Council, by one, two or three members. The ��ʿ����Council lays down broad policy guidelines for the Association and elects the ��ʿ����Executive Committee, which is charged with responsibility for the conduct of the affairs of ��ʿ����between congresses.

Collective members of ��ʿ����pay an annual contribution fee based on a table of payments approved by the ��ʿ����Council.
